Teaching the Art of Effective Communication: A Case Study with Blair Academy

At Blair Academy, a co-ed boarding school in Blairstown, New Jersey, relationships are everywhere: in the classroom, on athletic fields, in studios and dormitories, and around dining hall tables. We partnered with Blair to help ensure faculty could teach “the art of effective communication” as effectively as possible amid a challenging modern world. This past summer, Blair launched a R.E.A.L.® Pilot Cohort for interested faculty across disciplines while supporting a year-round program roll-out in 10th grade English.

After one semester, the results are in — and thus far, R.E.A.L.® has been instrumental in driving belonging, rigor, and relevance in English classrooms and across campus.
